Go to RFQs Page
Click on “+ New Request” button at the top right.
System shows the Request form.
Buyer can create a Request in two ways:
Quotable Catalog – A request is created by allowing the user to add products that may or may not belong in the Shoppable Marketplace catalog.
General Form – This is similar to how most Buyers send out RFQs, which is via email.
Request Types
Private – The RFQ will only be visible to suppliers in the Buyer’s private network. The Buyer can choose one or multiple suppliers from his network that he would like to invite to bid on his Request. Only those invited to the RFQ will be sent an email notification of the new Request.
Public – The RFQ will be visible to all suppliers in Quotable and will be notified via email of a new RFQ.
After buyer fills out the form, they click on the “Submit RFQ” button.
System creates the Request.
