An Approver will be able to view all the Top Quotes that are shortlisted by the Buyer user. They can compare the top quotes and vote on the quotes that they will approve. The Approver can vote up or down for one or all the top quotes. Approving a quotation does not mean awarding the quotation to the supplier yet.
To see the RFQ, the user can either:
Email notification – click on the link found in the email. Approver user may or may not be registered.
Share Link – click on the link shared with them. Approver user may or may not be registered.
Login – if a user already has an account, then the user can directly log in and go to the Approver view.
Buyer Approvers can start to vote on the quotes only after logging in:
The system displays the RFQ details page.
Users can compare quotes.
The user clicks on the thumbs-up icon to approve that quote.
The user clicks on the thumbs-down icon to decline that quote.
The system records the approver vote and shows that in the “Quote Acceptance” section in the Quotation comparison box of the RFQ Details.
